MS Fix it tool is great for all kinds of issues with uninstalls. The Autodesk Genuine Service uninstalls itself 24 hours after no other Autodesk software is on a machine, its like their DRM for piracy sorta. Uninstall Tool will never let your PC get overwhelmed with unused programs and their leftover traces. It keeps your PC clean by doing a smart and effective search of leftover items thought out. Go to Start and type Uninstall Tool. Once the dialog is opened, check AutoCAD and click Uninstall. That being said, uninstalling one of many Autodesk application from your machine (AutoCAD in this case) will not uninstall other tools or shared resources because the other applications (Maya) may need them. Then in Add/Remove Programs go and manually uninstall things like Object Enablers, then if I want to really clean it, will use CCleaner and do about 4 passes to remove all the registry junk. The Autodesk removal tool is terrible and does not remove everything it should and and yes uninstalling sucks!
