receiver should function correctly. (Radio presets and other adjustments
will be lost, so these must be re-entered). If this reset does not solve the

Harman Kardon 1710s Firmware Update

Checked the forum and found this Firmware update for the AVR 1700 in Europe site someone posted, thought that installing it was not going to load it if the firmware was not intended for the 1710, it installed it without any warning. After updrading the firmware I can see video but no audio, over HDMI connected device, analog or optic ports. Audio/video receiver AVR 1700, AVR 170, AVR 170/230C Quick-Start Guide.
